The FA-66 is a compact, portable 6-in/6-out FireWire 400/800 audio interface designed for mobile recording and performance professionals. The unit has two XLR/TRS combo inputs with phantom powered mic preamps, with one offering Hi-Z for recording electric guitar or bass, plus two RCA inputs — all with zero latency direct monitoring. The FA-66 delivers 4x4 simultaneous performance at up to 24-bit/192kHz sound quality, or 6x6 simultaneous performance at up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
The FA-66 also features MIDI in/out ports, optical S/PDIF I/O, a built-in analog limiter and indicator, and FireWire bus power. Artists in the Rock and Urban genres were invited to submit original tracks to be judged on OurStage.com by fans and a panel of music industry professionals. The top 20 finalists were selected by fans and six grand prize winners (three in each genre) were by industry- leading producers and A&R executives, including Bladimir Jimenez (A&R, Hollywood Records), Leon Zervos (Mastering Engineer, Studios 301), Will Langolf (GM, Career Artist Management), Rob Schustack (Director of A&R, The Orchard), Greg Johnson (A&R, Songs Publishing) and Jimmy R. The Prizes
The six winning artists will receive a complete mobile music production studio worth over $3,000 that includes an Intel Core i7 processor-powered laptop, Cakewalk’s V-Studio 100 portable recording solution, the award-winning SONAR Producer 8.5 digital audio workstation software, and MA-15D powered studio monitors.

Best Predictors are fans whose judging patterns matched closest to the final rankings of the contest.
